Beat Buehlmann  CHAIRMAN

Beat Buehlmann is the president of the board of directors of Ferrum AG. In 1997, Beat received a PhD from the University of Zurich, where he has also served at Swiss Banking Institute. The following 15 years he held various positions in the Financial Industry including Head of Private Equity at Horizon21 from 2004 to 2010, where he was responsible for a USD 6 billion Private Equity portfolio. Beat also serves on the boards of Invision Private Equity AG, QualySense AG and a few other companies.


Martin Meili  DIRECTOR

Martin is Medical Doctor and graduated at the University of Zurich. In 1989, he opened his own practice in Zurich, where he since works as a general practitioner with special interest in psychosomatic medicine. Together with his brothers Marcel Meili and Daniel Meili he is partner of Datuma AG, a family office committed to incubate promising ideas by offering financial, strategic, organizational, and legal support. 

Stefan Binz  DIRECTOR

Stefan graduated from the Advanced Technical College as business economist FH. He has joined the marketing department of ebi-pharm ag in 2000. His career path with ebi-pharm ag includes Head of Marketing and Head of Sales. In 2008, he was named CEO and member of the board of directors.




Eduardo Theiler  CEO

Eduardo holds a Master in Business Administration and Finance of the University of Zurich. After two years of experience in Investment Banking he co-founded go4equity, a pan-European platform for private equity transactions. In 2004, he founded Bridgeworks, an investment firm which incubates companies that devise bold and effective solutions to fundamental challenges of the future. Parallel to his entrepreneurial activity, Eduardo was trained as alternative practitioner of Traditional Medicine during four years. Eduardo founded Phytoceuticals in 2008.

Mischa Csendes  COO

Mischa holds a Master in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Federal Institute of Technology and a Master of Marketing Management from the ZfU International Business School. In 2004 Mischa joined Nestlé as an international sales & marketing consultant. Between 2007 and 2011 Mischa worked for his own ventures and on different consulting projects, such as the Pharma start-up Axentis and a multinational pharmaceutical company. From 2011 to 2016 Mischa worked for Geistlich Pharma in different commercial positions, finally as the Head of the International Sales & Marketing department.



Alina holds a Master in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. After working for two years as junior management consultant and two years leading a start-up tourism company, she relocated to Zurich, Switzerland, where she worked in the Communications department of an international automotive concern for 10 years. Alina joined Phytoceuticals in 2010 and became the company’s production and quality manager in 2014.



Esther holds a degree as registered nurse DN 2 HF. Further she pursued a specialization in wound management,  holds a diploma as expert caretaker from the Swiss Association for Wound Care (SAfW) and a diploma as key account manager. Esther has been working in different hospitals and is a widely experienced wound counselor. Her interest in developing new products, the future of wound management and wound care have led her to her current job with Phytoceuticals.
